Wilderness guide and outdoorswoman Pam Wright has been exploring wild places since she was young. Staying curious, she has explored remote lakes in Canada by canoe, backpacked some of the highest mountains in the Sierra Nevada, ran ultra races through the red rock canyons of Utah, and thru-hiked the Superior Hiking Trail in northern Minnesota.
Her job includes being a professional wilderness guide in northern Minnesota. In between that work, she’s a Red Cross Wilderness First Aid instructor and writer for Quetico Superior Wilderness News and Paddle & Portage. Her volunteering includes being an outdoor leader for a local women’s adventure group.
