Beginner Backpacking for Women | Tips, Tricks and Inspiration
Wilderness guide and outdoors woman, Pam Wright has over 20 years of backpacking experience and loves sharing easy tips and tricks for beginning.
Her backpacking experience includes. A full thru-hike the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota, completing all 310 miles in 21 days. Large sections of the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada. Multiple sections of the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin along with hiking the entire Border Route Trail in northern Minnesota. Additionally she's spoken at Canoecopia and REI.
Her first backpack was borrowed and weighed nearly 40 pounds. Whew! Since then, she's lightened up and loves to encourage other women outdoors.
